I’d like to get other sellers’ perspectives on a frustrating situation.I’m a Top Rated Seller and today listed genuine POP MART Labubu “Big Into Energy” blind boxes. I acquired a large quantity, verified authenticity, and spent time creating a compliant, well-optimised listing.Within two hours, the listing was removed under eBay’s counterfeit policy — clearly an automated decision.I completely understand why eBay needs to be cautious. The market has been flooded with fakes.What’s difficult to reconcile is that, at the same time, there are long-standing listings selling very high volumes at prices that appear economically implausible, with buyer feedback explicitly questioning authenticity — yet those listings remain live and continue to sell.I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for consistency. How is it that new, compliant listings are removed instantly by automation, while high-volume listings with clear red flags remain untouched?I’d genuinely like to hear whether others have experienced similar false positives, whether anyone has successfully navigated appeals in these situations and how eBay expects legitimate sellers to compete fairly when enforcement appears uneven I’m also open to hearing eBay’s perspective on how sellers are meant to distinguish themselves from bad actors when the system removes compliant listings first.
