Another spoof e mail doing the rounds
Summary: cobwebcottage warned others about a spoof email pretending to be from eBay, including a suspicious sign-in button aimed at stealing passwords. jokers_toybox confirmed receiving a similar email and verified with eBay that it is indeed a scam, reminding everyone that genuine eBay messages appear in the eBay dashboard and end with eBay.com email addresses.
Warning to all, a new ( to me) spoof e mail.
Email titled 'Ebay support and practice client portal'. At the end of the email, there is a big green sign in button which I assume is to get your account password.

·1 month agoYup, just had this one drop into my email from a listing I made today, called eBay, they have confirmed it's a scam
All genuine messages from ebay end in ebay.com email addresses and would also be in your messages on your dashboard
