Account Access
Summary: dale-6840 is seeking advice on how to regain access to a company's inactive eBay account after the original creator left without providing verification details. tressygirl suggests contacting eBay Customer Services, which might require answering security questions or potentially creating a new account. They also share tips on how to get through to a live agent and provide a link for assistance with operating hours.
Hi, I have joined a company that has an eBay account that has not been used for a while, we are still getting emails from eBay regarding billing.
I have found the account name, but the person that created the account has left the company.
so I am unable to get a text verification to change the password for the account, so that we can start using it again.
is there another way that we can gain access to the business account, without having to set a new one up.
Thanks

·1 month agoYou'll need to contact Customer Services for this. They may ask you some security questions to verify your identity for that account. Or, they may indeed advise to open a new bsuiness account.
Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.
