The Windsor Framework comes into effect 31 March 2025 - here’s what you need to know
The Windsor Framework changes to parcel movements between Great Britain (mainland UK) and Northern Ireland (“NI”) come into effect from 31 March 2025. As a business seller this will impact the way you send items to your customers in NI.
How will this impact me?
If you are a business sending items to NI, there may be some additional requirements to ensure your items clear customs. If you buy delivery labels on eBay, you may be required to provide some extra information at time of label purchase relating to your shipment, such as a HS code, the item value, weight and description.
If you have your own delivery arrangements, we would advise you to work with your chosen carrier partners to understand their requirements.
