In response to new requirements by Google, we’re expanding the HTTPS communications protocol across eBay.
Protect your listings and make sure they’re secure by:
Using our tool to check which of your listings contain non-secure content
From 24 November to 8 December 2017, we’ll alert sellers with non-compliant listings as of 13 November. Keep an eye out for this temporary warning and update any highlighted listings accordingly.
From February 2018, we’ll display a short snippet of the item description for non-compliant listings. Full item descriptions will be one click away. This is to keep eBay secure and make sure your listings don’t display a browser security warning to buyers.
