Question fees in Selling on eBay DND

Wondered why ebay seller fees were rising (10% not so long ago to 11%) when other companies,

like 'Vinted', are encouraging customers, with no selling fees. It would be good if they were slightly

reduced, rather than escalated.

All sellers are being moved to Managed payments, you pay ebay 12.8% + 30p.

No more paypal.

FYI. Vinted charge buyer fees, not sellers.

They haven't risen. The fees you pay once you've been switched to Managed Payments are now slightly lower for private sellers than they were before. You were paying 10% (to Ebay for selling) plus 2.9% plus 30p (to PayPal for payment processing). With MP, you pay 12.8% plus 30p to Ebay (for selling and payment processing).
