Can you send AA batteries via UPS if they are part of a tech sale?

I am selling a console bundle with games and the console and then a controller and I was planning on packing in some AA batteries just as an added extra.

I know there's issues with posting batteries.

Does anyone know if you can send them as part of a parcel with other stuff via UPS?

They wouldn't be inside the controller they are packaged in a little box seperately.

Well that would depend on the type of batteries,this page suggests you can subject to packaging guidelines

However this only applies if booking UPS directly,if you are talking of sending via Packlink with the console sold today the answer is a definite no,as Packlink prohibit all types of battery via any courier they use,and will use anything they can to avoid paying compensation.
