you are trading on a private account thereby denying your buyers they legal rights,

ebay won't remove the feedback as it doesn't break any rules,

you don't have a 'shop' on ebay, so stating they are banned from shopping in your shop just looks silly

Whether you offer free shipping or whether you charge the buyer for shipping makes no difference - you have to refund buyers in full, and that includes the original shipping charge they paid. That is the law.

In any case, you don't have a legal leg to stand on. You're trading illegally (by not being registered as a business seller), and consumer law states that a buyer can return an item to an illegally-trading seller for any reason at all, and in any condition at all, for up to 1 full year and 30 days, and the trader has to pay their return costs too. The law doesn't reward those who break it.

Anyone who makes, grows, refurbishes, or buys in (new or used) items to sell, is a business and must be registered as such. Not only an Ebay requirement but the law. Note that there is no such thing as a 'hobby seller' in this country, and how much or how little you sell or make is totally irrelevant. Private accounts are ONLY for those selling off their old no-longer-wanted possessions from wardrobe and attic. That clearly isn't you. So I would advise you to upgrade your account from private to business (takes seconds) as a matter of urgency, before you find yourself in big trouble with Ebay and Trading Standards. Most buyers are savvy these days, and one or more of your buyers may already have reported you.

Unforunetly this is more common than you think espeshially in clothing.

Person buys item of clothing uses it once for a party, night out etc then chanes their mind and returns the item sometime in a worse state than what it was sent them.

Either way as mentioned it will be worth registering as a busisness seller & unfortuently buysers can retuen anything for any reason if your going to be buying & to sell them on for a proffit.

Thanks you for your help rusticrye it is strange how I cant access you shop. I didn't asked you to give me a lesson in law. Nobody reported me because I'm not breaking any law. I am earning below allowance so
I don't need to do anything. And an advice from bitter and twisted people like your self I don't need.

@mimamossa ebay do offer a shop option where it offers differnt option than that to a private seller. Namely buisness selllers for one don't get free listings as far as I'm aware if they don't have a shop. At the moment you've only got various item listed and all you can do here on ebay is block someone account from buying from you again, although that doesn't stop them from using a differant that they only buy/sell on or use to ask question for.

On a couple of you listing i had seen that you put that the buer would only get a partial refund minus the P&P costs if the item wasn't used & still in its origanal packaging so in effect yes you are denying people consumer rights by putting that on your listings.
Also under ebays Money Back Gauantee the buyer would get a full refund regardless of the resons they might use to retun the item/s to you.

Requirements for business sellers

The Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 - opens in new window or tab requires businesses to provide certain information about themselves, including their contact details and geographic address at which their business is established.

To fulfill this requirement, sellers operating as a business on eBay.co.uk must complete the Business Seller Information section within their account, which will automatically display their business contact details and address on the seller's profile page.

The Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (April 2008) makes it an offence in the UK for a business to falsely represent itself as a private individual. So if you are misleading potential buyers into thinking that you are a private individual when you are in fact a business seller (ie: by not registering as a business seller with eBay), you will be breaking the law.

@mimamossa ywan insults will get you no where are, like your self running an unregistered busineess. So if anything its you who seems to be clueless. So do grow up as the law isn't some pick n mix that you can pick n choose in which law you would like you have to take all laws the good ones with the not so good ones
