Help identifying possible Panini collection

Hi all,

Having a clear out at home and came across a stack of clear pastic cards but unlike the Football & Soccer Superstars collections these cards show the badges of prominent European clubs of the day; Real Madrid, Zurich Grasshoppers, Man Utd etc.

My fading memory is telling me that they came with scratchcard games like Football Superstars but I can't remember, or if they came with an album.

I can't even be sure if they're Panini but I've a strong suspicion they are.

I've done a lot of looking on ebay and the internet but can't find any reference to them.

Do they ring a bell with anyone?

Dan the only clear plastic cards i remember were from World Cups in the 80's. Maybe someone else can shed light on these ones?

This is a bit of a weird one.

I'm going to try and get some pictures up soon to see if that helps anyone.

I'm determined to find someone else who remembers them if only to prove I'm not going mad!
