    <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently sold an iPad, it’s been a while since I’ve sold on here. The buyer got their own postage via Royal Mail which I listed as provider, however they option for track 24 which only offers £100 insurance. Because it was likely my fault for not saying had to be special delivery (although I could only see provider not service) I decided to pay the cost of special delivery out of my own pocket. The item arrived and the buyer left positive feedback confirming receipt and that they were happy with item. Now because the tracking number for the original postage is not showing delivered (I contact support with new tracking number) they are saying that it will need to wait 3 weeks for payment then 4 days to clear.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this is crazy that the can’t update tracking numbers or the fact the customer has left positive feedback confirming they got it and are happy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;anyone else had to deal with this? I’m sure a parcel has been more weight or bigger dimensions than originally thought and new postage has had to be purchased in the past ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You could have used the simple delivery label and been covered up to £750 in the event of loss or damage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the outcome you’ve had is eBay’s system working as intended.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I didn’t know that it would be up to £750, the carriers insurance for that product is only £100.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;still there is around 100 posts about this in one way or another, it would be a simple fix to allow tracking edit there is no difference in editing it than doing postage and adding it yourself.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Agreed it’s purely revenue based rather than service driven decision making, which they pride themselves on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i could easily stick the label to a empty envelope and post it and that would release the payment so there is zero security benefit here or customer given the buyer has provided positive feedback saying they’ve got it and happy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;frustrating but at least I learned there process offers additional insurance above the carries normal so everyday is a school day.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The buyer could open a case for item not as described using the envelope as evidence.&amp;nbsp; They would almost certainly get a refund.&amp;nbsp; It's a risky thing to do as feedback is irrelevant.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
