I'm having the same issue, they have created a listing for one of our MacBook Neo, but put MacBook Pro 14" in the title. We have zero access to the erroneous listing and cannot remove it.

I'm going to contact them later when chat opens in the UK and see what can be done.

Hello,

I have been having some issues with ebay and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced these issues or can offer any advice.

Due to a customer complaint, we discovered that ebay is producing 2 different versions of some of our listings. One version is the one we have created, the other version is almost exactly the same except in the listing title it has something like "5 x " before the rest of the title even though the listing is just for a single product.

This has happened on more than one occasion and ebay support has been very unhelpful so far.

I have attached images of the two different versions of one of our products. It seems to happen when people find the product listing through google.

This is the same exact product and on the "5 x rolls" listing, if I click "see all details" it will take us to our actual listing.

I have actually just checked the link again now (https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/805224882) and now it is doing this on the listing of another business, Pattern Cameras!

The page you have linked to is the eBay product library entry (hence the /p/ instead of /item/in the URL), which isn't a listing as such. If there were multiple sellers offering the same product they'd all appear on this page. As yours is the only current listing (well, the only one matched to this library entry) it looks like a listing. If a buyer clicks "See all details" they go to your listing (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/277759471882) with the correct title.

Unfortunately if someone clicks "Buy It Now" from the product library page they go straight to checkout, where there's only a (slim) chance they will notice that the title has changed from "5 Rolls X..." to "1 Roll of...".

Years ago when the product library (catalogue) was introduced there was a way of reporting incorrect entries, but I don't know how this is handled now (if at all). I searched for "product library" in eBay help and got this:

"I'm having trouble understanding that. Please rephrase or add a few details about what you're trying to do."

Good luck!

Apparently it's possible to "email the catalogue team".

Whilst that sounds like a lot of fun, I've never done it - so no idea what happens then.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/listings/creating-managing-listings/listing-item-product-details-catalogue?id=4653#section2
