over paying on fees

i have been over charged on a promotions i did it for 3 days and i set the limit to £27 a day and its charged me £681 and some more fees from the 6th march to the 5th of this month total sales were £1435.56 and they paid me £158.98 i am losing a fortune i have had to delete my listings as there still taking money out for promoting things that i never promoted its non stop pay out i have tried contacting them for days its impossible to get through to them i got through once and the man was very rude and would not listen to me was a waste of time can anybody advise me on this i am not surprised they are on the way out and have lost millions of customers over thew last few years

Not sure where you saw eBay is on the way out, when they are doing extremely well the best in the last 12 months of ' trading'

However, we're not dealing with eBay's billions but to your issue.

That is one hell of a lot of money to be paying if you are not sure which ad fees you've selected, my bet would be for the highest priced one, that is, the one which charges per click on viewing.

We as members here, like yourself, have no access to your account, and I know you've spoken to eBay CS, but it really does depend on who you speak to !

I strongly recommend contacting CS only very first thing when lines first open for ' live agents' at 8 a.m. on weekdays, as there's more chance of Dublin answering. Only speak to them, it's a Call Back option, so you'll hear if it's Ireland callin'.

I'm not sure what makes you think that. Certainy not going by eBay's share price, below.

It's undeniable that eBay has established a winning formula which has survived many setbacks - often of its own making - and predictions of its imminent demise. I only wish that I has bought some shares in eBay 20 years ago - but then it would be humbug to criticise them as I often do today.

thanks for that i’m waiting on a call back i got the figures of google eBay is failing they have lost 45 million customers since 2018 i’ve spoken to them they said a listing campaign for 4 days cost me nearly £700 for clicks even tho i set the limit for £27 a day it still charged me more so i had sales of £1400 i got £148 total of them so im about £500 down with stock and posting wrapping and i did the work for free all week basically gave all my products away i definitely won’t be selling on eBay again the only person making money this year will be my accountant 😩
