Seems to be some kind of a glitch

I have had it on and off for a while and it only seems to be on Firefox

Try clearing cookies and cache by clicking on the Ctrl Shift and Delete keys on your computer

Restart your computer

If that does not help then try another browser like Chrome.

I use Chrome too and it does not effect my ebay on that

Sorry forgot to add

Go to the top right of the Firefox page and click on the box with lines which says menu

Then click on Help and then Refresh firefox.

Try googling it as there is some information there

It does just seem to disappear after a while but so so annoying when it stops the browser working

From my experience it is trial and error but if someone does know a way of stopping it then I too would be interested to hear for the next time it appears

Sorry forgot to add

Go to the top right of the Firefox page and click on the box with lines which says menu

nothing running

There are always other programs running in the background - loads of them.

Have you tried clearing the browser cache and cookies? This often solves browser related problems. Shut the browser down and reopen it after doing this. Failing that, try another browser.

If the warning persists, tracing a program conflict can mean a bit of detective work. The last time it happened to me I had to use Task Manager to shut down inessential background programs until, by a process of elimination, I found the culprit.
