Question Ebay policy on returns in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

This is the way Ebay trets sellers

Appalling service. I asked why, having stated on my listing, that returns from overseas would not be accepted, Ebay in their wisdom decided that because a buyer from Germany asked to return a dress they said this would be accepted. The buyer bought two dresses both with almost identical measurements. One was fine. One did not fit. The Ebay rep said this was acceptable and stated that Ebay Germany would respond. Ironically the message from Germany addressed the issue of buyer returns!!!! I spoke to a manager. He said that I had accepted the return request. Rubbish. Why would I accept a return that I most vehemently rejected? It must have been from inside the Ebay system. Same attitude. I phoned Dublin. Same attitude. This customer service experience is probably the worst from any company I have dealt with. We as a large party of sellers are absolutely appalled at the way this matter has been dealt with. You try to placate sellers. No. Ebay policy 'The buyer is prince, the seller is the pauper'

you are a registered business seller,

so by law you have to accept returns

your listings state returns accepted

you can't then say it's UK only.

Only good thing is because buyer is in another counrty, they have to pay to return item to UK,

a good seller would refund this cost, but ebay can't make you.
