Question Partial refunds / returns / 'feedback' in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

Hi - I made the mistake of offering a partial refund of £2.00 on a £12.00 free postage purchase. The buyer said it was not enough and wanted twice that to have the item 'professionally repaired' - I refused to get into paying more for their claim of a small hole in the sleeve so offered a full refund on return of the item. They became angry and indicated they didn't want to return the item and were going to open a complaint with eBay. I repeated that I was happy to give a full refund on receipt of the returned item. I didn't receive a return request or any further communication from them or EBay.

Weeks later, the buyer contacted me and wants the original £2.00 partial refund offered so they can close the matter and ' leave appropriate feedback'. I havent responded, but feel they should still return the item for a full refund if there is an issue...not now try to get a part refund, especially to prevent them leaving bad feedback. ( My + feedback is already on their page, as I didn't anticipate any problem with the sale).

Advice please - should I give a part refund? Or communicate further with them at all? The option to return and receive a full refund still remains - and if they leave negative feedback can it be removed?

Really feel like becoming an exEbayer.....
