Hi

I have been wondering for a while why eBay forces the seller to refund the postage fees originlally paid for by either the buyer or the seller to send the package if the buyer is asking to return the package but the item is not faulty? It seems to me that it's completely unfair on the seller because the refund on the postage is coming from our own pocket??

Thank you for your reply but even if you say it's the law It doesn't make sense to me at all. Once the money has been spend on postage and the item as been delivered we shouldn't have to refund it if the buyer decide that what they have purchased is not what they wanted and want to return it.

I remember buying something on Amazon once and had to return the item because it wasn't what I was after and the seller didn't refund the original postage fees I had paid for them to send me the item. So the low doesn't seem to apply to every one...

On Ebay if its just a change of mind or does not fit etc ....if the seller accepts to refund upon return then it is down to the Buyer to pay the return tracked costs.

If the buyer claims not as described then the Seller has to pay the return tracked costs. Some Buyers will open a SNAD just to get the return tracked postal costs paid by the Seller 😞
