Yes yes yes i know, go to my preferenses and change it there .

Nothing there to change.Well thats not true, i can change some but not that that might possibly not lose ebay business but if they shove enough of it in your face there may be a slim chance you will buy something you dont need or want. Certainly 'no watched item ending soon alert email' With a do you want to switch that off so you dont have an email inbox clogged up with items. I can see them fine on my page, i hardly need a reminder or if i do i would like the option of saying NO THANKS.

But there doesnt seem to be that option.

The closest thing i can find is in 'General Preferences' But thats just to look at. theyve decided i cannot actually edit them

eg

Third-party email - Real time.

No option to change it so as far as ebay is concerned ill be getting 3rd party emails whether i want them or not.

And some of the other options arent enabled at all.

I thought the inability to swop around the different sections, like have buying at the top and selling or watching further down was a pain but i could get used to it i suppose.

Apparently ebay says i can have my page any way i want. except for moving the sections up or down and thats about all you can do with it other than tweak the colour.

But this is annoying. And the worst bit is not being allowed to do anything about it.

Well other than stop watching items.

Isnt it funny that in the US version of ebay, you can change anything you want and have your page any way you want and arent dictated to by ebay.

Whereas in the UK youre treated very poorly

UPDATE

Found something about alerts in 'Site Preferences'

hopefully that will do something but they dont make things easy

I reply here as i dont have to option to reply to you direct

All the forums im on have a reply button but nthing presents itself here.
