Question Global Shipping Programme Carriers in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

I ordered an item from the USA, and the seller was using the Global Shipping Programme.

The package tracking worked until it left YODEL's depot in the UK, and nothing happened for a few days after that. Eventually, a neighbour said that a parcel had been left in his porch while he was away for the weekend. Firstly, the package was not delivered to the correct address, and secondly it was not delivered to an alternative safe location. This does not seem to constitute delivery in any sense of the word, and I am concerned that cheap, incompetent carriers are being used rather than the national carrier, Royal Mail.

There was no option on 'Contact Us' which covered this topic, so I would be glad of some advice.

Yes, GSP do use the cheapest couriers, competence doesn't appear to be a requirement.

Many buyer avoid purchasing from sellers using GSP as the delivery charges are extremely high, even for items where there would be no customs fees to pay
