Cherry picking removed listings.

Right, so my beef is with a certain listing being removed, apparently not following a policy. I might have missed out on something in the details, that much I will admit, but the thing is - why just me and not the person I bought it from? If a rule is there, it should apply to everyone, not just someone who picked out the short straw in a draw.

I bought a fox fur shawl from a seller with barely any decription on it - listing was there for a good time. Nobody bothered to check it, even less - remove it or warn the seller.

Due to some changes in ethical preferences, I decided to get rid of the item by trying to sell it on to someone who still wishes to wear fur, even though I no longer condone it.

My listing was removed.

Question is, why do some people get away scott free and some get bashed? Why is there no structure? Is it a plan to chase away any private small time sellers? It looks like it. Has this happened to anyone else and has it stopped you from listing anything for sale?

ebay rely on members reporting listings,

they don't police the site themselves,

someone reported your listing,

no one reported the seller you purchased from.
