Question Suspicious buyer? in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

Please can someone advise me.

A buyer with zero feedback purchased some silver coins (value £230), I sent them via special delivery. I checked the tracking next day and it said item could not be delivered due to addresse refusing delivery.
i contacted the buyer about this and I said I will refund once they are returned. They replied that they still wanted the coins and that they had accidentally submitted no.26 instead of no.27 for the address.

I know mistakes can be made but does this sound like a potential scam? Do I resend the coins to no.27?

thanks

No as if you send to a dfferent address to that supplied with payment you lose all seller protection !!

When you get them back cancel as "problem with buyer address"

If they want them they can buy again when you relist & pay with the correct address
