Question buyer risks in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

I sold a brand new sealed product. The buyer, however, has no rating as buyer and poor rating as a seller. Wants me to post to an address different than the address he has listed on his ebay account. What are my risks if I post the item to him (by traceable courier)? Can he, for example, say that the item is not new and claim money back? I would like to avoid dealing with people with poor rating if at all possible but as he is the winning bidder I would like at least to protect myself from the risks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everyone who responded so promptly to my query. I have some additional information: The buyer has same item (but broken listed for sale). I read elsewhere that another person sold a new car part to a byer who claimed it was received broken and claimed refund via ebay and shipped to the buyer a broken and used part he took from his car to repair. In that case the seller felt strongly the buyer send him back broken part, retained the new part he bought from the seller and received full refund. I feel this risk is clearly present in my case. The item new cost £160 (plus courier postage) and it is mostly likely not wise to ship to this buyer. I plant to refund the money and relist the item (blocking from future sale this particular buyer). Question: Can I cancel the transaction on the ground that I perceive the buyer as undesirable due to clear credit risk? Thanks again.

Post only to the address shown in Paypal, if you send to another you have no seller protection. Send only by a tracked/signed for service so that buyer cannot claim not to have received the item. Buyers can always claim an item is not new, and unfortunately Ebay always takes their side even when it is clearly untrue.
