I purchased an item for seller for £590, the seller requested payment by Bank transfer and collection in person. Bank transfer was done and repeated e-mail to get address for collection yield no response from seller.

Contact E-bay who says the item is unpaid and recorded it as unpaid item, and simple said they unable to help as I paid outside e-bay rules (that not by paypal)

I left a feedback on seller items as paid item but never recieved, this appears to have been removed by E-bay

I was unable to to convinced e-bay that item was paid for as e-bay is saying according to the e-bay account it is showing no payment is made (that is because bank trasfer is outside the e-bay payment method)

Attempt to contact the seller gives a message "sorry unable to contact seller".

The bank has offered to asked the seller to return the money on the basis that I did not recieved the item. But is is only a request.

I would have upload evidence of payment but it has personal details such name and bank account details

Would this now be case a case for Police I wonder
