I recently bid and won an item, then when I enquired why the postage was so high for such a tiny package the seller said I was to pay his ebay fees, his paypal fees and further additional paypal fees he would ultimately be charged which he thought the buyer should pay on top of OTT postage costs anyway According to Ebay they set strict guidelines about what you can and can't claim for regarding postage and have a very explicit online idiots guide as to how to calculate postage costs at home, ive had people tell me they had to pay £2 for an empty cereal box to post a item, ive been expected to pay someone's busfare into town and pay for their time to get their and back as the post office is over an hour away I have even saw someone advertising they charge for petrol money when posting items!!!! When it states under no circumstances can you expect or are you allowed to claim for these items yet when I refuse to pay these demands I am reprimanded and the culprit flaunting ebays own rules (what a joke) gets to rip people off on a daily basis and gets off scot free, do sellers realise the postage is actually stamped on the package and even if it's tracked you can just ask the delivery driver how much the parcel was to post, people think it's just .80p its just £1 but when a person relies on online because they are disabled/housebound and that £1/2 every day can be £7/15 per week in overcharging on postage add that up over a month £30/40 is being stolen from a disabled person who genuinely relies on others being honest there must be others out there who are fed up with Ebay doing absolutely nothing about this racket.

rant over you can all start the onslaught now
