https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Member-To-Member-Support-DO-NOT/Fees/qaq-p/5111697 <P>I recently bid and won an item, then when I enquired why the postage was so high for such a tiny package the seller said I was to pay his ebay fees, his paypal fees and further additional paypal fees he would ultimately be charged which he thought the buyer should pay on top of OTT postage costs anyway According to Ebay they set strict guidelines about what you can and can't claim for regarding postage and have a very explicit online idiots guide as to how to calculate postage costs at home, ive had people tell me they had to pay £2 for an empty cereal box to post a item, ive been expected to pay someone's busfare into town and pay for their time to get their and back as the post office is over an hour away I have even saw someone advertising they charge for petrol money when posting items!!!!
