Question Seller Fees on Postage Charges in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

Why is E.Bay taking a cut of the postage charges that are levied as extra, TO PAY FOR THE POSTAGE AND PACKAGING....

When e.bay take a cut it leaves a shortfall in the money available to be able to post the item.

My view is that I charge so much for postage and that should not be touched by e.bay. If there is a surplus in the postage fee I refund it to the buyer. e.bay does not refund a portion of that, like paypal does. WHY.

I'm getting fed up with greedy e.bay and will be closing my account shortly unless something is done to curb this wanton money grabbing.

This has been in force for a long time now

It came about because some sellers had a cheap price on their items and were charging excessive postage to avoid fees

We all have to pay it if we want to sell on ebay

That is what we signed up to when we joined

So the choice is yours. Sell on ebay and pay the fees or close your account and find somewhere else
