Just a quick message to all those members still seeing the restricted account pop up......

When you start typing a question on here you are presented with a list of all the other similar messages already posted.....try clicking on one or two of them before asking about this message.....

The same question must have been asked & replied to around 50 times....possibly more over the last 2 days.......they are starting to clog up the board.......

You are supposed to check the question has not already been asked before posting......failing to check basically means that members who do reply will probably simply stop bothering replying to your questions......which will cause far more anxiety than simply checking previous messages first......I know I'm not bothering to replyu any more....other than to repeat what I have said many times today already.......

The account restricted message is a glitch/bug/hack/malicious code......not legitimate

eBay are aware of this.....it appears to be some kind of malicious code hidden in an ad from one of the 3rd party adverts on eBay....

Do not worry about it as you will not actually be restricted.....do not click on it either...if you were you would have received email messages & there would be a message in your messages section while logged into eBay

Can I suggest viewing eBay using a browser like Firefox with adblock plus installed as this blocks all of the 3rd party adverts & thus this message
