Question Isle of Wight in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Member-To-Member-Support-DO-NOT/Isle-of-Wight/qaq-p/5015515 <P>How do we resolve the problem of ebay / couriers thinking the Isle of Wight is in the Channel Islands?<BR /><BR />Again and again I get that the seller "does not post to the Isle of Wight" even if they are UK based. Do people not know where we are?<BR /><BR />I had a looong conversation earlier, pointing out to ebay support that we are NOT : the Channel Isles, the Scilly Isles, the Hebrides, Shetland, the Outer Hebrides, the Isle of Man or Ynes Mon.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>It is getting beyond a joke. We are not extra territorial (another excuse) we are classed as Portsmouth, we have a PO postcode. We are the same as Hayling Island. Portsmouth itself is on an island (Portsea Island) and they don't have any trouble.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>It costs no more to post here than it does to Portsmouth.
