Watchers problem

While it's a good thing to have a "watch" facility, I find it disheartening and demoralising when items I'm selling attract watchers - who don't bother to bid for the concerned items. I re-list again and again, once more attracting watchers, who don't bother bidding. **bleep**?! It really p***es me right off. I've dropped my prices as low as I can but no way, am I selling at ridiculous give-away prices. Come on watchers, either bid or don't use the frickin' "watch" button, for goodness sake! Ebay...get your act together and put a limit on watchers using the "watch" button blatantly, like 3-strikes and then stopped from using the button without any intention of bidding. I know of several sellers who have been totally cheesed off with these so-called buyers, "watching". Bidding is better than watching!

I actually sold an item to someone who admitted they had been watching it for 6 months.....could not afford it when they first saw it but wanted it as a gift for their Mum....hoping it would not be sold until they could afford it.........as soon as they could they purchased it !!

Yes I agree I have said to ebay they should only allow a watchers for 7 days then they they would need to come back to check item for sale but they can't watch. You can't stand in a shop for hours so why does eBay allow watchers for so long. EBay should allow the ID to be shown of watchers because they are time wasters and not genuine buyers.
