I have just received an abusive message from a seller because I had to ask eBay to step in to resolve issue where they hadn't refunded me as I hadn't received the item.
This is the message I received:
I see you crooked your way to a refund, If you have not got the inteligence to work out that a pair of boots wont fit through a letterbox and you are unable to go to the Post Office to collect an item that is to big to go through your letterbox, then please do noy buy them.
We have wasted time picking and packing the item and paid the postage which is now lost.
You are the type of perdon who gives Ebay a bad name....abslosute disgrace.
I have blocked you from our site and will leave a note on your profile.

Did you get a card through your door from the post office saying there was an item to pick up. Obviously the item would not fit through your letterbox so it would have been taken back to the sorting office for you to collect. So did you get a card and go to collect the item.

There is no need for abuse, but if this is what's happened then you have indeed cost the seller postage, and fees for nothing. It's not the sellers fault if you were not at home when the item was delivered.
