How do i close a return early and partially refund the buyer

Hi guys,

How do i close a return early and partially refund the buyer. They want to return an item because it doesnt fit them. Rather then return it, i said they could keep because it's not worth the few quid it cost and i will refund the price of the item minus the postage as it would cost them the postage to send it back anyway.The item was described properly so they are not saying it isn't. i'm supposed to wait 6 days to refund but i want to partially refund them now. The ever changing rules on ebay are confusing and i can't find another post about this?
