Thanks a lot eBay for the 100% prices I found myself paying for tonight. Another happy camper. Just needed to lodge my complaint about tonight's fiasco with CUK20 = more like CUK0

9:30pm I went to the checkout page, added CUK20. Hit PayPal. It took off £16 ish. Total £80 ish. Loads of items to process. A while later I noticed stuff left in my basket. Odd? Tried repaying the remaining unprocessed items. Emails pop up. No bloody discount. Wot! Checked back and 8 items didn't process AND an email saying others couldn't get processed. Tried redoing my last 8 items. Had to get it back over the £20 AGAIN. Yeah, thanks. Code gets accepted, but by the time I'm on the PayPal page it now says code is no longer acceptable. So I'm in limbo.

Not happy about this eBay. I feel like you've conned me. After being on eBay for 17 yrs, I know how the payment stage goes. And how discount codes are entered.

Are you going to refund my 20% on my £93.71 for 15 items, and get me the 20% off for the remainder 8 items which I had originally paid for at 9:30pm?

I have lost faith in eBay discount codes. Touch at your own peril next time.

@daniel.pi Thanks for editing my words down. If I cannot say it was a C up, when it totally was a shameful C up, but eBay would rather not let people read the words C up, rather than rectify their C up, when we all recognise it was a 100% C up, wasn't it. Haven't you got better things to do, than to worry about how I feel about said C up? (*Please add an appropriate word to the letter C, but make sure it is not offensive to 100% of the eBay readers. If you read it as being a rude word, then it is only in your head, not mine. I never put C's inside my head! I'm 100% non-offensive.) Or, possibly, it may have been the two stars after the C which violated "Policy" as being too offensive. I shall ask Susy Dent if such an item appears in her English dictionary!

7th April 2016

One week on and.... Arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. EBay told me last week that all would be well by 6th of April and all 20% monies would be returned. Well I waited and you guessed it... nothing. No monies. Ziltcho-diddly-squat. Back on the phone tonight and I got the "Oh, the 6th was for the (resolution?)"??? WTFlick! What about my money, guys? " Oh, we see your order went through at 3:18". Yeah, right on guys. Like I'm really gonna put through my orders "before" the 20% discount window come in. I was busy that afternoon deleting out items I didn't wish to buy and by the time 9:30pm I then clicked on the payment button after which eBay sends me their "Thank you for your purchases" webpage.

So, now I'm told it will all be sorted by the 20th April 2016. No doubt by then, I'll need to phone eBay up again.
