&lt;P&gt;Ask the buyer to open a case in the Resolution Centre for “I received an item that does not match the seller's description”.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If/when the buyer opens a case, you have two options:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you want the item back reply “Return for a full refund” within the case notes and issue a fully tracked returns label.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Refund in full through the case notes after you get the item back.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Alternatively, you can refund in full through the case notes straight away.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your buyer keeps the item, but you save on the cost of return postage only to throw the item away after receiving it back.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;No case, then no refund.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Add the buyer to your BBL if you do not want to sell to that buyer again.&lt;/P&gt;
