Seller has offered to repay me and asked me to close return repay request first,how the hell do I do this? Please it's driving me batty

Don't close it. If seller does not refund you won't be able to open another one. They can issue a refund without return via the case then it will close automatically.

You don't. Once closed you ccannot reopen and promise of a refund will be forgotten.

If seller really wants to refund they do it through the case then they gt their selling fee refunded. Doing it any other way and they still pay the selling fee.

Seller's request does not make sense unless they have no intention of refunding. All you need to do is escalate to ebay after 3 days to get a refund.
