Email recd containing invoice from eBay Inc.

Today I have received an email from eBay Inc. Telling me I need to pay quite, a large sum of money via PayPal as it would seem my donation as from items I have sold for a local charity have not been taken automatically, as they always used to be. I had noticed this but had not been able to speak to anyone at ebay querying it. The I get this email. Is the email a scam?

It says "You are receiving this invoice because you have unpaid donations due through the eBay for Charity program that could not be automatically processed."

I have the money owed to the charity in my PayPal acct & I don't understand why the donations have not been made straight from that account regularly as they always were.

Please advise me. I am petrified of getting scammed.
