Does managed payments work?

Does managed payments work for anyone. I felt forced to sign up to Ebay managing my payments or informed they would remove all my listings, so reluctantly did so. Two items sold on Monday, I'm advised I have to post them by Thursday. I have not received cleared funds to my bank to date.

Do I / Am I expected to post items before receiving cleared payment? If I hold off sending them till such time as payment is received I risk getting marked down by buyers for not dipatching quickly enough.

Am considering removing all listings and closing account as Ebay seems to be setting sellers up to fail. Comments and thoughts from other sellers greatly appreciated.

This has been talked to death,

Basic points are:

If you don't add bank details you can't sell.
Payments are not instant like paypal, takes a few days.
You have to post item when ebay tells you buyer has paid.
If you fail to post items, expect bad feedback & ebay disputes to be opened.
