Problem with typing in messages answers

I cannot reply to any messages, when I try I can type the first letter & that's it nothing else will show. I have 'got round this' by typing my reply in a text editor & cutting & pasting into the reply dialogue box. Hardly the intended method! Has anybody else experienced this problem & what is the solution?

There are problems with the messaging and has been for a while

Many reports on here.

Ebay are aware but nothing seems to be done.

At least you have found a way round the problem that works for you

A known intermittent issue if you have 'Grammarly' text check installed on your device ? ... if so, disable it.
