Hi,

Seen this asked a few weeks ago and it didn't seem to get answered fully. Someone was querying the following item 181752438917 and why it was not eligible under eBay Money Back Guarantee, both responses said it was and where did they get the idea it wasn't.

After browsing a few different items today I've seen the same thing, items listed as not eligible under the coverage section (near the top under refunds) but also listed with shop with confidence tag at the top right corner of the listing.

Can anyone clarify?

The item you mention is covered by eBay's money back guarantee. It states this in the listing (twice!).

This of course would be dependent upon it being paid for through eBay checkout, and by a way that makes the transaction eligible for this protection.

Yes I’m aware it is stated twice, my query (and I believe the other members was) is why despite this the coverage section says it is not...just seems contradictory.
