Advanced search no longer working

Why have Ebay turned off the UK advanced search filter function? All the boxes are dark highlighted now and search for anything except full catagories - is this what they call improving the system???? Even some of the search filters in normal mode have gone. Pointless and useless system now if we cannot seach by price/location and rule our business sellers.

22 years and they still cant get this cash-cow working for us

No idea, but many are frustrated, you are not alone.

A manager did come here recently, but claimed this was not an issue he was aware of! Hmmm !

Sounds typical Ebay - we dont give a damm! EG - now go advanced search - cars/vehicles-price-private seller-nearest and get the results - 292,000 vehicles !!! In other words EVERY vehicle for sale in the UK. Now try from "normal" page search with filters now above catagory search: motorcycles (normally 30,000 in UK new & used, 3000 private sellers (of that 750-1000 as Traders pretending to be private sellers) and search - oops try a price range - oops - only 3 choices now! OK so under £5450 (Ebays random number and no use as you may only want to search 250-1000- example) Answer - oops 20,000 vehicles and guess what they are 90% Traders vehicles! I only expect around 100-150 vehicle from private sellers! Click on "all filters" and there it is, a price box search - ok now we are talking - oh wait! Its still got all the Trade ads! Bottom line - screw this - too much hassle now- this site makes Facebbok market place look 2021!
