Ebay requests my current account details so that payments can be made into it directly. Until now, payments have been made into my paypall account with no problems. However, I am not prepared to give out my current account details as it is a joint account. I cannot close the sellers account as Ebay owes me money and they will not pay the balance to paypall.

Reading the small print on ebay gives them permission to WITHDRAW money from my current account as required by ebay; this is an open ended cheque so far as I can see.

Does anybody have any suggestions please?

We have no choice in the matter

We either agree to managed payments of can not sell on ebay

Joint accounts are not suitable it has to be an account in the same name as the account owner.

Many of us are already on the system

It seems to work OK but not instant like paypal and takes some getting used to it.

It is your choice you either agree or will not be allowed to sell

No idea how you get your money if you dont add an bank account in your name
