I purchased a cabinet from a selller Dec 2019. At the time, I was unable to collect the item due to a house move in the new year and the seller agreed to store the cabinet until Feb 2020 ("No worries", he said).

March 2020, we went into lockdown.......during which time, we stayed in touch and he was absolutely fine to continue to store the item.

As soon as lockdown #1 ended, I made contact to arrange collection.......no reply. A week later, I messaged again, I rang, I messaged.......this continued for months!

Unfortunately, I cannot find ANY of the emails that I sent, so I have no proof of any correspondence.

Due to Covid, Ebay had low staffing numbers and I was unable to reach out to them for protection & by the time I realised that this seller was off the radar for real, I appealed to Paypal to reclaim my £1200......but my appeal was declined because of the time lapse.

People - is this not daylight robbery? I feel gutted that some faceless person not only has my cabinet, which he can go on to sell but he also has my hard earned, honest money.
