New Payment system - Microdeposits

After signing up for the new payment system, I have a message asking me to update my account details;

Enter microdeposit amounts

Please enter the amounts that eBay has sent to this bank account. The transaction will be from eBay. It doesn’t matter what order you enter them. If your payouts were on hold, you’ll start receiving funds again, provided no other issues are needing your attention.

What is a microdeposit? I presume it is a small payment, say 1p?

No payments have been sent by Ebay to my bank account.

What am I missing here? What should I do next?

I am in the same boat as you. I've been asked to enter two microdeposits, but as yet nothing has appeared in my bank account.

So, I presume we just wait , keep checking our bank accounts for a 1p or 2p to appear and then enter where asked.
