Hi there,

am i right in assuming that when i change to e-bays new payment policy, although they are saying that the fees are very similar and probably wont make a difference to the seller, we will have to restrict the buyers from using Paypal, or we will be charged for this service as well?

lots of people like using paypal, and surely restricting them from doing so will affect my sales?.... therefore my charges are going to be greater if i keep using them, or sales less if i do not.

this new system of e-bays is a bit one sided, why do we wait minimums of 48 hours for payments to our accounts?... 4 days at weekends?

if paypal can pay immediately, why cant e-bay?.... they are charging the same for the service yet offering a worse payment plan for the sellers.?

Buyers can still use Paypal. eBay have included that receiving fee into their fees.

as already said, buyer's can still pay by PayPal and any seller who does not want buyers to use PayPal would lose out.

Regarding your sales being affected. Once in managed payments the fact that you are a business seller trading as a private seller in violation of eBay rules and the law will be picked up - if not by eBay, by HMRC, trading standards etc.
