Why is closing an ebay account so difficult?

Having conned me in to providing my bank details to obtain a direct debit, Ebay refuse to allow me to delete the account information and wont do it for you.

Only option they have offered me is to close the account and that comes with a 30 restriction from your last transaction even though that was to clear the outstanding balance.

IMO they operate like tha mafia, I used to get a payment from paypal instantly, any delays were always a random ebay decison to apply a hold even though I had 20+ all positive feed back.

Of course if I want to use ebay for buying only, they have invited me to set up a new account.

They trully are a bunch of jokers.

Goodbye Ebay, I wont miss you.

It is easy enough to close but as you say you have to wait

Although your item may have been cleared that does not mean that a problem may

come up within the 30 days for the ebay money back guarantee

You just have to be patient

We all used to get instant payments from paypal but if we want to sell then we have to accept managed payments. The choice is ours.
