Not receiving terrapeak research tool with basic shop subscription?

Hi, I am private seller with a basic shop subscription (£20 a month)

I have had this subscription for a couple of months now and still have not been given access to the terapeak research tool. Before subscribing to this shop, the page said that this subscription included the terapeak research tool (which was one of the reasons why I bought the shop in the first place.)

When I open the research tab in the ebay selller hub, under the 'Terapeak Product Research' option, it says I can only 'Subscribe Now'. And the same goes for the 'Terapeak Sourcing Insights' option.

Do you know why I may not be able to access the research tool or maybe a way to fix the issue?

Terapeak is only available to business sellers and you need to upgrade your account to business status,you are not a private seller you have multiples of brand new items for sale and it's a legal requirement as well as an eBay one to be correctly registered.

you have to upgrade to a business account, subscribing to a shop doesn't do this automatically,

go to:-

my ebay >>> account tab >>> personal information

does this mean i need to start a registered business to be able to upgrade?

It means you need to upgrade your eBay account to a business one.

you just need to upgrade your account, you don't need to register with companies house or anything like that
