Just changed over to having payments sent to my bank recently. Sold item on Wednesday, got notification off eBay. Nothing in bank account can’t send item.

Friday now another notification off eBay saying funds available 0-4 working days. Still nothing in bank account. What an abortion of a service this is. Feel sorry for the buyer as nobody’s gonna send items until you can physically see payment in your bank account.Paypal was simple and straight forward this isn’t

It takes two complete working days to reach your bank account but you are supposed to send the item immediately.

First item sold using new payout to bank. Only an idiot would send items until payments cleared especially as I mentioned it’s my first sale using this method.But regardless of that this process has slowed the dispatch of items down considerably.Paypal was instant , no messing, no worries. If it’s not broke why fix it? Simple answer eBays greedy , they want your cash now rather than at the end of the month. Telling me to send items before the funds have cleared in my bank account = bad business practice.Alternatively speed up the process

We all agree that MP is not as good as paypal, but have to use it or not sell on ebay. If you delay posting item now buyer has paid expect item not received case to be opened & bad feedback

If you do not send items when eBay advise you payment has been received, you will end up with late delivery marks, and possible bad feedback from buyers.

Yes, it is not ideal, it is a wait, but the delay is more with the bank than eBay.

eBay take 1 - 2 business working days to take their fees, and send the remainder to your bank, your bank then takes 1 - 4 business working days to process those funds for you.

Have just received funds in my bank account, as it’s my first sale I needed to know everything was set up correctly.
