Hi, I try to buy a courier service and send them collection and delivery address info and phone numbers to help make the delviery work.

The ebay email gets bounced as a violation (trying to sell off ebay, which is not the case)

How do I keep the courier and ebay happy?

It is not clear what you are trying to do

I cant see any item you have sold so are you the buyer?.

If the item is a collection item then you do not have the right to send a courier unless the seller agrees. It is not safe and items on collection only are usually because they are difficult to pack

Have you bougtht the item

If you have not then contact details can not be exchanged until you do.

It can get you suspended or restricted

Hi I bought an exercise bike from a collection only seller, having asked if he would accept my arranging a courier to collect. Silversprint on ebay have offered to do the job, but mobile numbers for collection and delivery addresses make it easier for the courier, so i would like to provide them

It would make it easier but usually optional. Any contact with the seller has to be done through the item in your purchase history under More actions Contact seller.

So the seller bit is ok - I am asking via the approved route. The courier bit is indeed optional, but I would want the courier to contact me by phone/txt if needed. Courier would probably want to communicate by phone/txt to coordinate collection and potentially avoid the 'wait in all day' thing. If its a 'NO' then that's it, but it is not an unreasonable thing I want to do (IMHO).

Yes the seller bit is ok to ask them through the contact seller link. You need the address but they do not need to give any other information. To be honest buying and sending a courier is not a good idea at all but if the seller agreed. As regards the courier you should be able to add your details if the option is there. I have never used Silverlink

we went with anyvan instead of silversprint - more confidence in them - thanks for the help - £115 on courier cost just FYI - happy with that
