Question posting an item in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

I entered into negotiation with a seller as to whether he would post an item to Canada as his listing said he did not. He agreed and quoted a charge of 12.45 UK pounds. However, when I won the auction and I wrote to him requesting a new invoice he emailed me and called me a time waster and not to contact him again. I was happy to purchane the item with the increased postage charges but since he will not submit a new invoice I can't pay. I specifically said (and I have the email correspondence) that I DID NOT want the item sent to my UK address as I am temporarily based in Canada.

He refuses communication in a matter which as far as I am concerned a misunderstanding. He says he is going to re-list the item, which is fine by me but I am worried that my feedback is going to be damaged by a `non payment' dispute.

What a lousy seller. If he opens an unpaid item dispute then take the strike and appeal it, eBay will give you a link to do this and you will be able to ask them to view the messages between you and the seller.

A strike on your account will not be public and please note that the seller cannot leave you negative or neutral feedback. In fact, if they go through the unpaid route then neither party will be able to leave f/b.
