Most guarantees are only valid for 1st person to by as new.

I would guess that most sellers of new goods on e-bay are not authorised retailers and therefore any guarantees are invalid. I have read many buyer's questions and this seems to be the case.

Unfortunately, many of eBay's millions of buyers don't.

They come here when their warranties prove worthless, but it's too late.
