Estimated delivery dates, wrongly estimated

Hi all, last week I spent hours reporting an issue where eBay are estimating my delivery dates for goods I sell, and although I have them advertised as dispatched within one day and with a next day service, the advert reads that delivery estimated in excess of a week. I was told this was a glitch in the system that is being worked upon to rectify. Can anyone shed any light on this, as the problem still persists and devalues our appeal and service offered.

There are still lots of delays with postal services, so amybe ebay have extended time to allow for this so you don't get late delivery defects.

I accept that could be a factor, but we use external couriers as our stuff is palletised, so the generalising actually works against us as we lose our advantage of making stock 😪
