Question Collection only in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

I buy a lot of items that are quite large but hesitating about buying now as a lot of things I do buy are collect only. From what I can make out and been advised with is that it is illegal to collect non essential items or use your car for essential journeys. Where do we stand and will sellers who are on collection only be asked to switch to click and collect or courier which a few do door to door service. If anyone can advise please. Dave

“been advised with is that it is illegal to collect non essential items “

In that case you don't buy.

“will sellers who are on collection only be asked to switch to click and collect”

That would still mean one would have to collect.

No one can force a seller to use a courier.

I think you have to use common sense

We are in a lockdown and anything that is non essential you should not do.

If all non essential shops ect have to close then I would think collecting an item from someones home is non essential too.
