I have received reviews on my offered sale befpre it has been sold a single item with a general description how can this be possible?

Reviews are for an item in general not the sale that you may make. That would be "feedback"

Of course, I fully agree.
However when a claim is made that the item fails when obviously used
inappropriately and the reasons given are bunkum then such reviews should
be vetted.

Technically the review was 3 years old and states this Power Supply unit
failed driving a Graphics Display Unit (assuming it was a correct
comparison unit ) I would note that it does not have the appropriate
connectors to connect to the GPU mentioned, this suggests its likely the
reported failure may have been from inadvertent misuse.

Additionally the original item reviewed did not come from the same
reputable stable as the Brand new Item I advertised.
I believe such reviews are misleading and obviously affect sales and
reputation adversely.
